The St.Croix Marathon starts and finishes at The Sunterra Carambola Beach Resort on Route 80, the North Shore Road. The race starts at 5:00 am Run East pass the 1 mile mark which is beyond the road to the "Beast", continue to the 2 mile mark which is just beyond the Cane Bay Beach at "Off the Wall beach restaurant. Continue to the LaVallee intersection which is the 3 mile mark, turn left and continue to the 4 mile mark at Rust Op Twist. Continue passed mile 4 and 5 to the Gentle Winds Resorts entrance, turn left into the entrance road, continue pass the 6 mile mark and the 10k mark, at the end of the road, turn around and return the same route to the North Shore Road Route #80 and turn left, continue East and turn left at the next road to the Columbus Historic Site as Salt River Marina, continue passed the 7 mile mark to the beach at the end of the road and turn around and return the same route to North Shore Road Route #80 and turn left and continue to pass the 8, 9, and 15k marks to the intersection at North Side Road. Turn around and continue on the same route passed the 10 and 11 mile mark which is passed the Gentle Winds Resorts (do not turn in the two roads), continue passed the 12, 20k and half-marathon marks to the LaValle intersection, turn right and continue passed the 14, 15, 25k and 16 mile marks. At the start/finish line at Carambola, turn around and pass the 17 mile mark and continue the same route pass the 18, 19, 20 and 21 mile marks which is near the 4 mile mark in the first leg of the race. Continue to the turn around which is at mile 21.6 and turn around and return to the finish line at Carambola.
