Special Collections: The Von Scholten Collection, located at
the Enid Baa Public Library & Archives in St. Thomas and the
Caribbean Collection of the Florence Williams Public Library in St. Croix houses books,
manuscripts, pamphlets and other materials. Available back
issues of Virgin Islands Newspapers on microfilm; church records
including: birth and death certificates and other archival
materials. Researchers are requested to contact the library
and make appointment for service.
The St. Croix Literacy Center...
The St. Croix Literacy Center is a cooperative program between the
Florence Williams Public Library and the Division of Vocational and
Adult Education. Adult new readers can get help in learning
how to read with the help of a literacy tutor. Tutors can receive
training at the center as well.
